This year is the 5th anniversary of the Öland Roots festival. Of course this will be grandly celebrated, and this summer’s festival will be memorable in many ways. One of the many novelties this year is that tickets to the festival will only be available in advance. (i.e. there is no longer any way to purchase a ticket at the festival entrance), and as the festival sold out last year we recommend that you buy your tickets early. Another change is that the “tent-stage” is replaced with a larger out door stage, which will be the festival’s “main stage”. This is mainly due to the fact that “Dansbanan” can’t provide enough space for everyone to see all of the acts. It is our intention that all the major acts can be seen by every visitor to Öland Roots festival.
