KULTURAKTIVITETER PÅ ÖLAND ROOTS
Dela dina kunskaper bland andra festivalbesökare? Bli en del av Sveriges mysigaste festival? Delta på det mycket uppskattade kulturella programmet på festivalen Öland Roots 2020?
Nu sökes talangfulla kulturaktörer med kulturaktiviteter som vill vara en del av festivalens 2020. Din aktivitet kommer finnas representerad i vårt kulturella program som når ut till ca 7000 besökare. Ditt medverkande kan även delas genom Öland Roots sociala medier innan och under festivalen.
TEMA & EFTERFRÅGAN
Det kulturella programmet på festivalen utmanar bilden av vad besökarna kan göra på en musikfestival, att helt enkelt skapa fler sammanhang vid sidan av den fantastiska musiken. Inom detta arbetar även festivalen ständigt med att sprida reggaens positiva budskap om kärlek, solidaritet och medvetenhet, som även det ska vara ramar för det kulturella programmet. Tidigare år har festivalens kulturella program erbjudit allt från yoga, dans, teater till workshops inom macrame, täljning, jonglering etc. Inspiration till vad festivalen söker efter kan vara kring temat hållbarhet, såsom hållbart resande, hantverk eller off grid building. Kanske är din grej föreläsningar inom miljö, kultur, konst eller sociologi? En workshop eller ett samtal förväntas hållas i anslutning till eventuell föreläsning. Barnaktiviteter är extra välkomna på festivalen, såsom odlingskurser, dans eller teater med utgångspunkt i miljön. Let your imagination run free! <3
ANSÖKAN
Ansökan ska innehålla en fullt presenterad idé om aktiviteten, tillsammans med de material och/eller teknisk utrustning som behövs. Öland Roots förväntar sig även att ditt bidrag går att hållas fler än en gång under festivalen. Ange även någon form av referens och/eller bilder/videos i ansökan.
Ansökan skickas till kultur@olandroots.com innan den 3 maj (antagning sker löpande). Märk mailet med “Kulturella programmet”. Vid antagning ges en 4 dagars festivalbiljett, marknadsföring genom festivalens sociala medier och mat de dagar du arbetar med din kulturaktivitet.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES ON ÖLAND ROOTS
Want to share knowledge with other festival visitors? Want to be part of Sweden's cosiest festival? Want to participate in the much-appreciated cultural program at the Öland Roots 2020 festival?
Right now we are looking for talented people to contribute to the cultural program at Öland Roots 2020. Your activity will be represented in our cultural program which reaches about 7000 visitors and your participation will also be shared through Öland Roots social media before and during the festival.
THEME & DEMAND
The cultural program at the festival challenges the image of what visitors can do at a music festival, simply to create more contexts alongside the fantastic music. Within this, the festival is also constantly working to spread the reggae's positive message of love, solidarity and awareness, which should also be the framework for the cultural program. In previous years, the festival's cultural program has offered everything from yoga, dance, theater to macrame, wood carving, juggling, etc. Inspiration for what the festival is looking for can be around the theme of sustainability, such as sustainable travel, crafts or off grid building. Maybe your thing is lectures in environment, culture, art or sociology?
A workshop or discussion is expected to be held in conjunction with any lecture. Children's activities are especially welcome at the festival, such as cultivation courses, dance or theater based on the environment. Let your imagination run free! <3
APPLICATION
The application must contain a fully presented idea of the activity, together with a list of the materials and / or technical equipment needed. Öland Roots also expects your contribution to be held more than once during the festival. Please also provide some form of reference and / or pictures / videos in the application.
The application is sent to Kultur@olandroots.com before May 3 (admission is ongoing). Tag the email with the "Cultural program". Upon admission you will get a 4-day festival ticket, marketing through the festival's social media and food the days you work on your cultural activity.
